NEOM INFRASTRUCTURES – THE SPINE

As a Sub-designer for the Main Designer during the tender design phase of the NEOM – The Spine Project, Pontech was responsible for:

• Developing structural concepts in compliance with bidding requirements;
• Structural design for 2 underground stations and 40 underground egress
  structures;
• BIM modeling and quantity survey for tender submission.

NEOM is a $500 billion smart city project located in northwest Saudi Arabia, launched in 2017 as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. Spanning 26,500 km², the project aims to diversify the nation’s economy beyond oil dependency.

A central component is THE LINE — a 170 km-long, car-free, zero-emission linear city that emphasizes sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
