Junior Structural Design Engineer

Work description

Depending on your competences and phase of the project, you will participate in parts of the design works, including:
• Making structural analysis of buildings / bridges or other structures under instruction of design leaders.
• Prepare layout of structural drawings for Building / Industrial structures under instruction of design leaders..
• Prepare layout of structural drawings for Bridge structures / Infrastructures under instruction of design leaders..
• Make detailed structural drawings for formwork/rebars/connection details of all type of structural elements.
• Interpret the structural design report / instructive sketches of structure from other team to prepare structural drawings.
• Detect the clash problem during working and propose solution.
• Implement the quality control of the drawings / analysis reports.

Requirements

• You have bachelor’s degree in Civil structure Engineering/ Bridge structure Engineering;
• Have experienced in applying international design standards (Eurocode or American Standards);
• Have solid skills in using AutoCAD and Revit;
• Have experience in making detailed structural drawings / shop drawings;
• Have critical thinking, ability to identify and resolve technical problems;
• Basic skills in English;
• Basic reading and writing skills in French will be a considerable advantage;
• Accurateness and precision;
• Work under pressure and to meet tight deadline.
